CLESSTE, an apparel brand founded by fashion director Ryo Takashima.

This V-neck knit uses "Aube," an original yarn developed by Sato Seni, a long-established spinning and knit factory based in Sagae City, Yamagata Prefecture.

Aube uses worsted yarn of super fine merino washable wool.

Worsted yarn is spun while neatly brushing the wool fibers, so it doesn't have the bulk of woolen yarn (yarn spun by tangling fibers), but it has a soft touch and a unique luster, making it a high-quality yarn.

It is also 100% washable with shrink-proofing, so it has the functionality of wool while also being as easy to care for as synthetic fibers.

The moderate 12-gauge thickness allows it to be worn like a sweatshirt, and the ribbed knit creates a textured finish.

In addition, it features a simple yet well-designed neck design and opening, as well as CLESSTE's characteristic relaxed sizing.

By taking advantage of the short length and V-neck, various coordinates are possible by layering shirts, high necks, and cut-and-sew items as innerwear.
